Our Therapists

“Life can be heavy, especially if you try to carry it all at once.”
– Taylor Swift
At a young age, I knew that I loved listening to people’s stories. This started with my ability to get lost in books, songs, TV shows, and films, and then led to studying theatre. Eventually, I realized how I could combine my passion for stories, the empathy I felt, and the joy I experienced from being a helper – by being a therapist.
I offer a non-judgmental space, filled with kindness and unconditional care. I identify strongly as a BIPOC and LGBTQ+ ally, and I have a special interest in grief therapy, especially the loss of a parent, spouse, or pet/animal family member; life transitions, such as perimenopause/menopause, adjusting to college, a new job, move, or divorce/break-up; and relationship issues, including codependency, boundary setting, parenting an adult child, or estrangement. I am a trauma informed therapist, and utilize Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma recovery. I offer confidential virtual/telehealth appointments to individuals 18-85 years-old in 40 states in the U.S. (see https://psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap for a map of participating states).
When I’m not working, I enjoy providing supervision to therapists-in-training or for licensure; walking and listening to audiobooks, podcasts, and music (I am a certified Swiftie!); decorating my house for various holidays; spending time with my husband and our ragdoll cat, Harry; cooking; and binge-watching TV shows.

“Be messy and complicated and afraid and show up anyway.”
– Glennon Doyle
As your therapist, one of my main priorities is establishing a connection where you feel safe enough to show up as you. In that effort, I strive to bring authenticity, non-judgmental understanding, and good humor to every session I share with a client. I think above everything, I can offer you a space to be heard and validated yet challenged and empowered — A space to show up exactly where you are, while growing toward where you want to go.
I enjoy working with a variety of concerns and have particular interest and training in trauma recovery, family/relationship stress, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and aim for my office to be a place where all clients feel secure and connected. My approach is person-centered and rooted in attachment theory, while also utilizing techniques from DBT, ACT, and EMDR when appropriate.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, seeing live music, cooking, binging Real Housewives (we said this was a safe space, right?!), and cuddling my 100 lb Great Pyrenees, Iggy Pup.
